Matthew Driggs began Driggs, Bills & Day with the hopes of establishing a law firm based around the values of community, understanding, and philanthropy. Put simply, Matthew wanted to provide legal representation focused solely around the needs of his clients. The outcome of his efforts was the founding of The Advocates, which now serves personal injury clients in four states throughout the western United States.
Upon graduating from the University of Utah’s law school, Matthew decided to practice personal injury law in order to help people recover from life-shattering accidents. He first launched a solo practice in Midvale, Utah before moving the law firm to downtown Salt Lake City in 1995. The Advocates was born shortly thereafter when the partnering attorneys decided to join together and form the personal injury law firm Driggs, Bills & Day, P.C. To date, Matthew’s work with The Advocates has helped his clients recover in excess of $200 million dollars from the hundreds of cases he’s successfully settled.
When Matthew is not fighting for his clients’ right to fair settlements, he is a devoted husband and father to his five children. Self-betterment and traveling the globe are his other passions in life. Matt has an adventurous bucket list with the goal of seeing every Wonder of the World and to travel to each continent.
